PortraitXT presents work-style statements and asks how closely each one describes you. The practice is designed to make the rating scale familiar, not to provide or predict an official personality profile.
Read each statement and choose the response position that most accurately reflects your usual work behavior or preference.
In this site's practice, PortraitXT uses written statement ratings, while Portrait uses a choice between two picture prompts.
This practice focuses on understanding statement wording, self-assessment, response pace, and stable use of the rating scale.
The free demo lets you rate one statement. It records no profile and is not saved to practice history.
Premium practice uses a five-minute round with varied work-style statements. Read each prompt carefully, use the response scale shown, and maintain the same honest frame throughout the round.
Feedback can describe completion and response behavior inside this product. It must not call answers correct or incorrect, provide an official personality score, or predict hiring outcomes.
Use what you normally do across situations rather than a single success, failure, or idealized intention.
Similar wording is not necessarily a trick. Read each prompt independently and answer the meaning actually presented.
Do not avoid or overuse the ends of the scale for strategic reasons. Use them when the statement strongly and consistently fits.
Maintain the same honest frame throughout the session instead of changing strategy after a statement feels job-related.
The result summary reports only activity from this independent practice. It is not an official HireVue score and cannot predict an employer decision.
The number of work-style statements answered before the full-practice timer ended.
The percentage of presented statements that received one response.
The average time between a statement becoming answerable and your scale selection. Faster or slower is not automatically better.
A descriptive summary of how often you used each available response position. It is not a personality score.
Practice results are independent feedback and are not an official HireVue score.
Choose between two visual prompts based on your usual work preferences.

Practice the HireVue Teamchat gameStudy facial cues and choose the emotion label that best fits each expression.
Practice the HireVue E-Motions gameIt helps you become familiar with statement wording, rating-scale use, self-assessment, and response pacing. It is not a clinical personality test.
There is no universal public passing score and this practice should not create one. Review completion and your response process.
No. This practice does not diagnose personality, mental health, job suitability, or future performance.
It follows the core statement-rating interaction: indicate how closely each work-style statement reflects your usual behavior. HireVueGames creates its own statements, interface, and practice summary, so it does not reproduce HireVue's statements, scoring, or employer interpretation.
Learn the PortraitXT interaction, complete timed practice, and review the supported independent practice results before assessment day.
