Numerosity is a short numerical-processing task. Each challenge shows an arithmetic operation, a target result, and a set of selectable numbers. You choose a valid combination that reaches the target using the operation shown, submit it, and continue to the next challenge.
How long is the Numerosity game?
This independent practice round lasts three minutes. HireVue's public candidate guidance describes its individual games as taking approximately three minutes, although an employer's assessment package and product version can change the overall experience.
Which mathematical operations are used?
Numerosity challenges can use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The operation is shown on each challenge, so confirm it before scanning the numbers.
How many numbers should I select?
Select the valid combination required by the challenge. Some questions may be solved with two numbers, while more demanding questions can require a larger combination. The page should not claim that every challenge always requires exactly two numbers.
Does Numerosity become more difficult?
